Michele Krause

Hailing from Carmel, Indiana and a graduate of Carmel High School, she was a member of the Carmel Accents Show Choir, The Carmel Charisma and The Carmel Coquettes Dance Team. Michele has performed, taught, and choreographed most of her life. She has firsthand experience turning passion into a profession, dancing her way through both Columbia College Chicago and Ball State University.

Her passion for dance has taken her across the national stage— dancing alongside Johnny Depp and Christian Bale in the major motion picture Public Enemies and performing at the Super Bowl XLVI Village, on the Main Stage, as she opened for the likes of LMFAO. While her talent as a performer has afforded her no shortage of opportunities, her heart lies in teaching future dancers. A decorated choreographer, she received a Grammy nomination and has had the honor of Choreographing for “So You Think You Can Dance.”

A Former studio owner, she has choreographed numerous solos for her students (many of which have gone on to dance in college programs and professional levels). Michele comes to Turning Pointe professionally trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theater, Contemporary and Lyrical. With her diverse background, equal parts passion, experience, and a tremendous drive, she will no doubt lead many more performers to excel! We are so excited to welcome her to the TPAD family!!
